Winterheul is open every evening until January 5, 2025, starting at 4:30 PM. Note: the last time slot is at 9:00 PM.
Two exceptions to this are Christmas Day, 25 December, and 31 December when Winterheul is closed.

To make your visit as pleasant as possible, we work with time slots of half an hour. After you have chosen your day, you can select a suitable time yourself. In this half hour you can enter Winterheul. Then you can enjoy your magical walk.
*Would you rather not be tied to a time slot? With flex tickets you only have to choose a day without a fixed time. Flex tickets can easily be exchanged via the Universe platform up to the day before your chosen date.

Winterheul is also accessible by public transportation. You can use bus line 1 from the RRReis bus company. This bus departs from Apeldoorn Station.
Please note that there are no buses from Winterheul to Apeldoorn Station after around 8:00 p.m.

From the municipal parking lot, cross the street in the direction of Stadspark Berg & Bos. Follow the path to the right along the large pond (under the sign 'Apenheul') in the direction of Apenheul and De St@art. From the parking lot, it is about a 10-minute walk to the entrance of Winterheul.
Parking at the car park at Winterheul is free.
After the walk you can discuss the magic on the food court at the exit. Here you can find various drinks and cold and hot snacks. Would you like to eat something more extensive before or after the experience? Then you can do so at one of the catering establishments in the area.
The route you take is largely on the ground floor. This makes Winterheul easily accessible if you have difficulty walking, use a wheelchair or have a stroller with you.
